Newly designed 458 Italia CAPRISTO® manifolds (Set of 2, includes heat shields)
Eliminating the manufacturers exhaust manifold and adding a set of performance exhaust headers is the best way to reduce power robbing back pressure from your cars engine.
Normal exhaust manifolds cause back-pressure when your engine runs. Manifolds use one chamber for 4 firing cylinders.
These newly designed Ferrari 459 headers are built to give each cylinder its own exhaust tube to vent through. This design eliminates the back-pressure and gives your cars engine a great boost in power.
To achieve a louder and higher pitched exhaust sound with every CAPRISTO® exhaust system, you'll find that our stainless headers/manifolds are a recommended installation. These stainless headers were carefully developed along with each exhaust system to provide optimal performance.
These manifolds work on the "4 in 2 in 1" principle, and are made entirely from T309 grade stainless steel . They feature a significantly changed pipe routing compared with the stock manifolds.
These manifolds fit on the original mounting points and a replacement of the original manifold can be carried out without any problems
HEAT SHIELDS:
The 458 caused some negative headlines due to some heat problems. CAPRISTO® established that too much heat was released from the components of the exhaust system into the engine department.
For this reason and as part of its exhaust development for the 458, CAPRISTO® developed heat protecting shields with more efficiency than the stock parts providing an increase performance lost from 'heat soak'.
The Capristo heat shields also protect your vehicle in the case of leaking fluids igniting due to contact with the heat from an exhaust system.
It is important to note that Ferrari 458 owners are not allowed to have the headers installed without the heat protection shields.
